Years ago I attended medical school in hopes of pursuing a life-long interest in healing. While there, I uncovered a preference
for a different form of healing, but the particular form wasn’t yet clear. I let my yoga and meditation practices guide me as I spent years as
an educator.
Early in 2002 I visited a bookstore and was drawn to the books of Karen Kingston (www.spaceclearing.com).
I had never heard of her, but bought the books and began the first one immediately. As I finished, the phone rang. A friend asked if I might like to go to Bali to study with
Karen Kingston. Within three weeks I was there, discovering a healing art that calls to me. Upon returning I took on an apprentice role with a
master practitioner. I acquired mastery as I watched the transformation of hundreds of spaces over a two-year period.
In 2004 I founded my own practice to enrich lives by healing physical spaces which, in turn, heal and nurture their users.
In 2008 I engaged students, faculty, and staff in the transformation of a high school math classroom in Madison, Wisconsin. On December 2, The
Capital Times published a story about this project called Feng Shui in a high school math room. I continue to consult with Madison educators to
create supportive learning environments.
My training never ends. Currently I am studying with Scott Anderson of Alignment Yoga. Watching chi is a practice of perpetual education.
Freeing chi to the benefit of others is a healing art I practice with joy.
