Movement Classes

Ongoing classes
Strength through Alignment, Movement and Meditation, Quarry Arts Building, 715 Hill Street, Madison, WI. Wednesdays, 10:30 to 11:45. Weekly. The focus is on yoga, Pilates, and mindfulness.

Linda's training
Regular meditation and fitness routines enable clear seeing. Weight training, aerobics, Pilates and yoga each add a different piece. Trained as a Pilates Mat Instructor through Movement Insights, and yoga Instructor through Alignment Yoga. Linda offers individual and group instruction. Speciality body topics include Chair Yoga, YogAutism, Healthy Back Yoga, Yoga for Strong Bones, and more.  A decades-long meditation practice informs Linda's capacity to see both buildings and bodies.   

A life-long concern for aesthetics and the natural world inform Linda's Feng Shui practice. Formal training in Bali with Karen Kingston (2000) and a 2-year apprenticeship with Jackie Patricia in Madison, Wisconsin (2002 to 2004) offered the opportunity to watch more than 200 spaces move into radiance, beauty, and power.
